Test for Parasite Infection

Should you test for parasite infection?

Symptoms of parasite infection: include: Loose, foul-smelling stool, foul-smelling wind, diarrhoea and/or constipation, mucous in stools, stomach cramps, bloated stomach, rectal itching, headaches, foggy brain, joint pains, post-nasal drip, anaemia, fatigue and generally feeling unwell.

Some people with parasite infection may have had symptoms for a long time. They may be eating the right foods, taking the right supplements and living a healthy lifestyle, and yet still struggle with lingering unexplained digestive problems that don’t make sense.

A stool test (performed at home on samples collected over three days) that looks for parasite, bacteria and yeast DNA in your stool.
